Aspida Group celebrate the graduation of the first trainees of our groundbreaking Advisory Trainee Programme as Blaine and Dan are busy planning for their 4 week sabbaticals.
Bee McDaid and Dan Radford were the initial members of Aspida’s Advisory Trainee Programme in 2019, designed to ensure that the future workforce of our governance, risk and compliance advisory businesses had the necessary skills and aptitude to maximise the benefits of our technology platform and added value people overlay.
Peter Mills, Joint Chair, explains “shortages of compliance and risk experienced individuals have been a challenge for some time, we identified this and wanted to invest in our future leaders. Our culture is such that this is as much about helping the next generation as it is about meeting our business needs and those of our clients”.
Blaine says “The trainee programme has been a wonderful opportunity, allowing me to gain my advanced certificate and diploma with the International Compliance Association as well as personal development within the role. It has been a great kick start for my career progression and I am excited to share my experience and knowledge with our future trainees.”
Dan adds “The trainee programme has given me a great base for my career, including exposure to multiple sectors and various aspects of risk and compliance. I’m looking forward to the coming years as I continue my own development and assist the newer trainees joining the business.”
Benefits of the trainee programme include:
3 year ‘on the job’ training programme focussing on the skills required for a successful career within Advisory Services, support towards completion of a relevant professional qualification and a 4 week sabbatical or a cash bonus after graduation.
Applications are presently open for the 2023 intake and you can learn more about the trainee programme here.
