We’ve received some lovely feedback from Taylor, who joined us for work experience last week!
This week has been a real eye-opener into just how much Aspida really does. The whole team was so friendly, and seemingly put their all into making the experience as beneficial as possible. It was really great getting to see in real time how the team works together across all the different areas, and how beneficial it is to have everyone working in the same office space, as the communication was smoother and more efficient, which is something I wouldn’t have even considered prior to this week.
Having a schedule made that allowed me to spend time in every sector was really a main highlight, especially as I was able to discover new areas which interested me, such as Co-Sec and their lovely team, or even being shown that the accountancy side of the business is not as scary as it may seem to someone with no experience in it (p.s. it’s actually really interesting).
Everyone in the team, especially Emma who organised this for me, have been so willing and inviting, and it was actually a shame to only have one week, as with more time I really feel like I could really make great connections with people, and learn lots of valuable skills, even more than I did in the time I had.
