No longer just a trend, or a nice to do, impact investing is rapidly evolving as a mainstream investment strategy.
We consider the capabilities of Guernsey to be able to support this growth from a regulatory, structural and service provider expertise perspective.

Aspida’s Richard Bray and Stephen Cuddihee are joined in this session by Justin Sykes, Founder and CEO of Innovest Advisory and Darren Agombar, Managing director of CAM and co-founder and Chief Investment Officer of Smart Pension Limited.
Justin Sykes is an impact investment specialist with 20 years experience in supporting the deployment of private capital to create more and better jobs for vulnerable populations, often in fragile contexts. He is the Managing Director and Founder of Innovest Advisory. Innovest designs and facilitates innovative funding structures that combine public and private capital to support market based solutions to these global challenges. Innovest also provides impact advisory and impact measurement and reporting services to asset managers, private wealth clients and corporates. Justin’s wide-spanning career history has included working for Youth Business International (patron HRH Prince of Wales) the United Nations Youth Employment Network (Chair UN Sec. Gen Kofi Annan) and Silatech Foundation (Chair former First Lady of Qatar and mother of the current Emir). He serves as a board member and adviser to a number of microfinance institutions and international charities engaged in supporting the livelihoods of low income communities. He is a non-executive director on the Guernsey domiciled $210 million impact investment fund, Partners Group Impact Investments. (PGII)
Darren Agombar is Managing director of CAM and co-founder and Chief Investment Officer of Smart Pension Limited where he has shaped and developed the investment strategy from inception (2015) to present. AUM has grown to in excess of £1bn and is on course to race past £5bn min by 2023.Darren has deep financial market experience stretching over 35 years and has held senior roles in banking, trading and investment management in London, Dubai and Tokyo. Darren has additional expertise in behavioural finance and economics and has applied this to coaching market professionals as well as developing quantitative trading models. Darren has Bachelor of Science – BS (Honours) Psychology from The Open University.
